Terlingham Vineyard

Award Winning Sparkling Wines

English Sparkling Wines

Terlingham Vineyard is a perfect spot to make sparkling wines. The gentle slope of our south facing vineyards provides good drainage for our vines, and the chalky soil makes our vines work just that little bit harder when they're pushing down their roots, which means stronger vines and more delicious grapes. Kents' famous sunny days fill the grapes with sugar ready to be turned into splendid sparkling wines.

Terlingham Sparkling White

English White Sparkling Wine

Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes combine beautifully in this delicate and enjoyable sparkling wine. It has a lovely initial visual impact with wonderful fine bubbles and a blend of light straw and white gold colour. On the nose we have stunning strawberries and cream. It has a creamy and lush palate, with reflections of the strawberry and cream nose, all  driven along with a lovely zesty acidity and a  lingering finish.

Our 2007 vintage was awarded a bronze medal in the 2010 English and Welsh Wine Awards and our 2008 vintage received a silver in the 2011 awards.

Terlingham Sparkling Rosé

Terlingham Sparkling Wine

Delightfully decadently pink, this sparkling wine just begs to be enjoyed with friends. Made from noble Champagne blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot noir (40%) and Pinot meunier (20%) has a lovely pale pink colour, and a gentle but persistent stream of bubbles.

The nose offers aromas of apples and strawberries, with a hint of brioche. It is a delicate and attractive wine, with a slight sweetness to it, and has a long finish that is almost chalky (much like the land the vines grow in!).

Terlingham Still Wines

Terlingham white, red and rose still wines

Terlingham Vineyard produces a range of award winning white and pink wines.

All wonderfully drinkable young wines, the variatals grown at Terlingham produce delicate and floral bouquets with elderflower, lavendar, eucalyptus and litchi all rising gently to surface.

Elderflower nose with a light fresh mintyness in support and just a few shades of asparagus will make the 2010 Bacchus one of your all-time favourites - it's certainly a favourite of ours!

Our 2009 Rosé is a wonderful pink wine which will compliment a light afternoon salad of grilled chicken and mature cheeses. Soft strawberries and hints of kiwi on the nose. The colour is reminiscent of the great Provencal Roses.

Our 2009 Bacchus and Saxon Shore wine's were both awarded Bronze Medals in the 2010 English and Welsh Wine awards alongside our 2007 sparkling white. Our 2010 Bacchus has also been awarded a silver medal in the 2011 English and Welsh Wine awards, a fantastic recognition of the ongoing quality and consistency of Terlingham's vines and winery. Our 2009 Saxon Shore and our White Cliffs received a further two bronze awards to make up a very respectable four medal haul for our little vineyard.
