Terlingham Manor
Records for Terlingham Manor date back to the 13th century and the manor even gets an honourable mention in the Domesday book. The ancient red brick farm house overlooks the vineyards and beautiful Kentish coastline and is home to Graham and Lorna Wilks, wine makers and wine enthusiasts. The vines at Terlingham were planted in 2006 and the first wines were produced in 2008. Terlingham Vineyard is also home to the UK's smallest commercial winery and all our wine is produced on site by hand.
The Wilks family has a historical connection to Hawkinge and its surrounds, as a young lad Graham's father used to call these hills home and it is here that Graham and Lorna have returned to make their home and produce top class English wine.
